"Koorts!"; een nieuwe opiniereeks op MO.be

MO.be start met 'Koorts!' , een nieuwe reeks bijdragen waarin Belgische wetenschappers de temperatuur nemen van de mondiale gezondheidszorg. Dit gezondheidsbulletin moet de publieke opinie alert houden en de beleidsmakers tot daden aanzetten. Gorik Ooms opent de serie met een stuk over moedersterfte, generische medicijnen en de vraag naar grensoverschrijdende solidariteit. Gorik Ooms is voormalig directeur van Artsen Zonder Grenzen België. Vandaag is hij onderzoeker aan het Instituut voor Tropische Geneeskunde en de universiteit van Yale.
